Privacy notice

This notice explains what the ZS Tech website collects when you visit it, and what we do with the details you send us. It describes the website as it works today.

Who we are

ZS Tech designs and installs access control, surveillance, communication and smart home security systems. Our office is at Business Square, 4 Hafez Ramadan St., Delta Buildings 2, Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt. You can reach us on WhatsApp or by phone at +20 100 148 6715 or +20 114 663 6755.

What the website collects

The website has no accounts. It has one form, the call-back request, and sets one cookie.

• Visit statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and which WhatsApp buttons are pressed, and Vercel Speed Insights to measure how fast pages load. Both report totals, work without cookies and do not tell us who you are.
• Hosting logs. The website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, it records technical details of each request, such as the IP address, the browser and the page asked for, to run the service and keep it secure.
• The System Builder. The Builder runs in your browser. Your answers reach us only if you send the WhatsApp message it prepares, press its WhatsApp button (see below) or ask for a call back from it.
• Where you came from. On your first visit the website stores a cookie named zs_ft for 30 days. It holds the campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source or an ad click id), the website that sent you, if any, and the first page you opened. It holds nothing that identifies you. We use it to learn which pages and campaigns lead people to contact us.

When you contact us on WhatsApp

A WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp with a message ready for you to edit. Nothing is sent until you press send. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and its own privacy policy applies to your use of the app.

When you press a WhatsApp button, the website adds a short reference code (such as W-7K2P) to the end of the message, so we can match your chat to the page you came from. At the same moment it records the press in ZS Tech's customer system: the reference code, which button and page, the language, your System Builder answers if you used it, the campaign details from the cookie above, your browser type and a scrambled form of your IP address (see below). It does not record your name or number; we only learn those if you send the message.

When you ask for a call back

The call-back form, on the Contact page and in the System Builder, asks for your name and mobile number, and lets you add a message. We send it to ZS Tech's customer system together with your System Builder answers if you used it, the page you sent it from, the campaign details from the cookie above, your browser type, a scrambled form of your IP address and the version of this notice you agreed to. We use your details to call you back about your request, and the campaign details to learn which pages and campaigns lead people to contact us.

• Your IP address is never stored. We keep only a one-way scrambled form of it (a salted hash), which lets us limit how many requests one connection can send.
• Spam protection. The form has a hidden field that only automated programs fill in, and may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks in the background that a person is sending it. Turnstile receives technical details from your browser, including your IP address.
• Staff alert. A short message with your request (name, number, needs, message and page) is sent to ZS Tech staff through Telegram so that someone can call you quickly.

Who handles these details for us

• Vercel hosts the website and runs the form.
• Supabase hosts ZS Tech's customer system, in the European Union (Ireland).
• Cloudflare runs Turnstile, when it is switched on.
• Telegram carries the staff alert.

Each of them processes the details only to provide its service to ZS Tech.

What we do with your details

When you message or call us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, your number and details of your space. We use them to reply to you, to prepare a proposal, and to install and support any system you order.

Your rights

Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) gives you rights over your personal data. You can ask us what personal data we hold about you and why, ask for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent. Contact us on WhatsApp or by phone to make a request.

Data in the systems we install

To be completed by ZS Tech: how camera recordings, fingerprints, face templates and entry logs in client systems are handled: who controls them, where they are stored, what ZS Tech can access during installation and support, and how long they are kept.

Changes to this notice

This is version 2026-10-06 of the notice. The call-back form records the version you agreed to. If the website starts collecting anything new, we will update this notice, its version and the date at the top of the page.
